At Scout Sitters, our passion for dogs starts with Harvey Portnoy. Having lost his childhood pet Sam at a young age, Harvey understands the importance of caring, kind, and generous attention to every dog's best interest. His huge heart and love for animals is the foundation of Scout Sitters.
Our beginning: A Christmas of caring
Scout Sitters began during Christmas of 2024 when we watched our aunt's mini golden doodle. That experience taught us the ropes of providing in-home dog care. We learned firsthand the responsibilities and joys of looking after a dog, setting the stage for Scout Sitters' commitment to providing top-notch pet sitting services.
